Down under

I have some unused gear on Ebay and I have been getting lots of emails from places all over the world.. Malaysia, Indonesia, Israel...mainly quotes to ship but I normally respond when the quote and then ask How is the fishing down there...here is a response from someone in Queensland Aus.

HI Jim that is fine , fishing is like all places they have the good and not so good days , where i live near Moreton bay .However off the reefs of qld north it is spectacular , almost embarrassing it is so easy to bag out, on big reef fish , that?s where the heavy duty American made 6-0 Penn are so good ,2.8 TO 1 ratio , and we attach the 9-0 diawa handle for extra leverage , they are Gorilla proof .prefect for the fishing up there TOUGH AS..

There are fish out there that have never seen a hook .or a line .!!!!!

i do like the thunnus down here in Moreton bay they are tuff spinning reel .
i do use the ( usa) 9500 penn spinning in the local blue water they are also very robust.

all the best regards

Here is one from Israel:
its the inshore amberjacks season now in here, and i can use an extra set of rod & reel in the water to max my odds... :)

there are beasts of up until 60 pounds now... last week i cought a 25 pounder, and your reel can handle the job pretty well :)

thank you.
