Marine chartplotter app for smartphone
Does anyone have a marine chartplotter app for their smartphone? If so, which is the best for Boston harbor and Cape Cod bay?

I have navionics for android and it's not bad. I think it was $15, download it through the computer or it takes over an hour (I will never make that mistake again).

navionics.... for android I don't think I paid $15 for it but I could be mistaken. I thought for what it is it was alright, its not a stand alone but just a backup. The refresh rate is slow but that could be the phone, the accuracy is pretty good though. wrecks and piles are where it says they are, I found that out tog fishing this fall.
just thinking I got it through the market .. androids store, dl right to the phone 10 min tops. |
Navionics, but keep the charger on board, it'll schwack the battery in no time.

4th for navionics. For iPhone its 9.99 and yes you have to keep the charger hooked up. Also has a Kool google overlay that has bathymetric contours.
