Pomagranate Juice--Worth it or not?

What's the opinions on Pomagranate Juice. Its supposed to be a good antioxident and I do find it delicious but its expensive as hell.

Worth it or not. If not , what's a better alternative.

Pomagranates didn't even make the list! guess I'll have to try it with Vodka! :)

Buy it at Costco. Can be rough on the intestinal track if you drink it straight. I dilute it abit with WATER.

Potatos made the list, thats cool. I still have about thirty pounds of yukon gold from the garden. Eating smaller ones in beef stew tonight.

Pom also makes a pomeganate/blueberry mix that makes a great
tasting drink when diluted with green tea. Tri mix antioxidants.

I will tell the wife that. Next time at Costco in Avon I will grab a bottle. Anybody ever go to Costco in Avon after 11 a.m. and get all the free snacks. Its like brunch at Lombardo's. Sometime it is awesome others times just a regular snack day.

Been there, done that. The chicken caesar salad from the snack bar is a pretty good lunch, too. Some good deals on booze, too. Especially on their private label (Kirkland) liquor and wines. I'm not a big fan of their beer, though.

Thanks BS, wasn't aware of it but the anti aging benefit caught my eye too.
Need all of that I can get. :)

Fish oil caps are great, but get my stomach, so I switched to a new squidd oil cap
that has CoQ10 added and doesn't bother the stomach at all.

the krill oil is far superior Dave
but use puritan pride because every one else
is over charging or price gouging ya...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
buying a juicer ............ solves the problem

not to belittle anti oxidants

carrot juice and anything green you can juice
using carrot juice as the base is the best way to go

compare blood and chlorophyll side by side (via google)
and you'd see why...they are almost identical

l

That is probably the best bet Rav and by adding the berries it's
prolly cheaper. The conveince of premix juice is you don't have to
go to the trouble to make it.
Prolly more expenive, but when you come right down to it prolly no more than a bottle of beer.

You wil prolly live longer with the juice mix, but just not as Happy without the beer. :hihi:

Raven 12-11-2011 09:20 AM

i just made carrot juice
and gave a tall glass of the orange elixir
to my wife while she showered....

hey babe :)

it took only two minutes to make it

Just don't buy it at the big box stores. As like with gas grills and cordless screwdrivers, the quality of food products can be dramatically lower even when you think you're buying the same bottle of juice with the same label.

Orange juice is really bad.
