Geminids tonite
 

Peak is 10-dawn

They are saying 40 per hour maybe the moon will sleep late :hee:

Saw a few early ones, nothing spectacular, maybe approaching 10/hr. High, very thin cirrus clouds moving in from the SW, the moon rising, and a slight fog (seemed to dissipate when the hot tub recirc pumps stopped :)) won't make for the best viewing conditions tonight.

Go out and have a look anyways.
