I assume you mean from Youtube?

Go get FireFox if you don't already have it: FireFox.com

After FireFox is installed, Install Video Downloadhelper: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...dl-mostpopular

And install.

Go to Youtube to the Video you want and you'll see the 3 circle Video Downloadhelper Icon https://static-cdn.addons.mozilla.ne...ied=1320922624

Click and download where you can find it.

For a Video Player I'm a fan of VLC: VideoLAN - Official page for VLC media player, the Open Source video framework!

That's it ;)

i am not a big fan of VLC movie player, i use the codec packs from Major Geeks K-Lite is one of the most common on but if you just google the following " Major geeks & codec pack " you will see your os come up. This will allow you to use windows media player for everything.

Trying to Keep it Simple

(Yes, VLC and KLite - have you outfitted clean installs with Ninite?)

If you are reffering to the term ninite meaning crashing a machine due to installing k lite nopper ;p. Honestly the best codec back is sharky off major geeks, i like to keep it simple with the self updating packs, so it allows people to stay with wma. But one of the things that drives me wonkos, is everything has its own player. Itunes, qtime, roxio, nero, even the damn torrents. Thats where stuff starts to get jacked up for no reason.... sorry for the rant going insane being stuck behind these 4 walls, almost had world hunger solved 2 weeks ago.
