Yup. Wear mine on a belt clip, so is on my hip. Happens a lot when running power tools. I just chock it up to getting old.

PRBuzz 12-15-2011 06:07 PM

muscle twitching...yes

WESTPORTMAFIA 12-15-2011 08:34 PM

Yes but not in a while. It's definitely weird and feels just like the phone.

striperman36 12-15-2011 08:46 PM

Thank God, I am not alone and not crazy... Er, not alone anyways..

Nebe 12-15-2011 09:05 PM

This is the first time I have heard of others having this vibration thing. Scary stuff. I get an occasional eye twitch and I wonder if that is related??

Yup, you grab your pocket and nothing is in it. It has happened to my shirt pocket before too. It's gotta be some kind of muscle spasm. I'm glad others had it too and are still alive LOL. Maybe it's fishing related.

Slipknot 12-15-2011 11:43 PM

it is some kind of muscle spasm
happens to my arms and shoulders quite often
sometimes you can see it also
must be some kind of short circuit

Raven 12-16-2011 05:53 AM

its a lack of magnesium
both my wife and i experienced the vibration ring
when not carrying a cell phone...

once we started taking magnesium it vanished

eyes are affected in a similar way
but sometimes it's just a reaction to caffeine

oh you want proof -ok
Magnesium deficiency symptoms involving the peripheral nervous system include numbness,
tingling, and other abnormal sensations, such as zips, zaps and vibratory sensations.

The twitchy eye thing is usually followed up by a voice telling me to head for the Water Tower...I've learned to ignore it....for now

You too? And sometimes it also says to climb the water tower buck naked with a high power rifle. Right?...................Right? :hidin: :rotf2:

JohnR 12-16-2011 07:23 AM

Used to get the twitch from the shirt pocket though haven't in a while since changing phones and turning off all vibration.

Though this thread bringing it up will probably start it all over again.

It is a huge phenomenon that started with cell phones, I googled it cause it was happening uncontrollably sometimes for hours..

Like everyone else I thought I was losing my mind...:smash:

striperman36 12-16-2011 01:25 PM

Wear a bluetooth ear piece for several years, a few hours a day, your ear starts to twitch

Been taking magnesium for a while for muscle cramping. The twitching stopped , too.

Raven 12-16-2011 07:52 PM

ya know whats good for cramping is bananas
but even better dried banana chips because
they are very portable and last a long time.

i once had a knotted muscle the size of half a tennis ball on my shoulder
so, i went for physical therapy to fix it....wouldn't go away- see...

i had therapeutic massage,E-stim, muscle relaxers prescription
and absolutely nothing would even phase it...

then i chanced to read that a lack of magnesium could cause muscles
to cramp into a ball and stay that way and went HMMMMM?

i googled magnesium deficiency and i had nearly every symptom
much to my amazement... so i imediately started taking magnesium
and it was like MAGIC....with in three days it was totally gone...
