Few beers tonight

Rouge John John Ale, this is the oaked version of Dead Guy Ale. Decent but the oak flavor dominates. This is the second time I've tried it and I'd rather have regular Dead Guy Ale.

Smuttynose S'muttonator. This is a dopplebock that really delivers. A much more complex feel in the mouth than the usual imports and a more delicate flavor. This is perhaps the best Smuttynose beer I've ever had...

I'll look for that one spence, thanks for the review. went to a local beer tasting the other night and yarmouth wine and spirits and picked up one of these beauties (along with a few others: clown shoes, cisco moore porter)

15 year anniversary special Stone imperial black IPA - 10.8% after your face got numb from the alchohol it tasted pretty good :) seriously this dark brew delivers considerable bite at the beginning but as your palat adapts to the beer it improves the drinkablility and the initial bitterness fades. per usual from stone, heavy hopped taste, but considerably smooth finish. I liked it, but would only reccomend it to people who enjoy dark heavy beers. overall Id give it 3 out of 5 stars. cheers
