smelt shack?
 

I seem to recall we talked about a Maine trip this year. Was there ever a date planned? I need a little heads up as far as planning and don't want to miss it this year.

Anyone?

Hard to even consider setting a date until the camps open up, they don't even answer the phones until they are putting out the shacks. A lot of them also won't take reservation more than 2 weeks in advance.....with the weather now, it could be late this season.

a few years ago I had reserved a shack in late January....it got canceled because of no ice. :wall:

I'm trying to schedule an outing for our club.....I basically have to pick a date and hope I can get shacks reserved in time...and there is ice

i'm ready to go as soon as they put camps out. i usually only go once or twice a year but im gonna shoot for 3 or 4 trips this year.

I have always wanted to go,if there's a trip this winter you can count me in.
