My brother in Law is a guide out of NH that fishes the Merrimack and he has only caught a few schoolies so far. your fish should be there any day as they have just arrived in boston harbor in numbers.

A 29" striper was taken in the Merrimac Saturday. Not much action ,1-2 schoolies. Shad are running hot & cold. Herring are all over the place. Cod fish are 1-2miles off shore of Gloucester- Beverly. Head boats this week have been slamming haddock. Talked to one fella from Pennsylvania who had 10 haddock over 23" and released a dozen or so more just under the 23"s They are catching fish but allot are under the size limit.
