Making a hinged or removeable CC handrail?

I have a center console with the pretty typical metal hand rail that comes up over the windshield. Problem is that the area I often launch has a bridge that we need to pass under and it’s a pretty tight fit under the bridge mid tide and impassable at high tide. Some of the boats in the area have taken off the metal hand rail and windshield entirely but if its possible I would like to add a joint to mine so that it could either be folder down or removed and then set back up once under the bridge.

Has anyone tried something like this? Does anyone sell a kit or a type of hinge that would fit on the round metal tubing so that it could be folder down?

Just do what the LMB tournament guys do...flood the boat so it sits lower in the water......just make sure your insurance is up to date!

cut it and install a post in the bottom part. put it back on, drill through it for some sort of cotter/clevis pin

quick pin the legs to the bases.

My buddie added a hinge to his CC windshield rail so that it folds down in order to get it into the garage. Came out real clean too. I'll try and get some pics
