WTB cheap work truck

Figured I'd just give this a shot. CHEAP and inspected or at least able to get a sticker in RI. I need something to go back and forth from Charlestown to Green Hill daily... that's about 10 miles round trip. Most anything might work. just started looking... first stop is here. Cash or maybe gear and cash... CHEAP is the operative word. Might consider a beater wagon or small van.

What's your price range?

There's a guy near me who usually has cheap decent trucks.

Shoot me a pm if you want, I drive by it every day

1996 Chevy K2500 long bed xtra cab deisel 4x4

I have a decent truck i would sell it for $2500.00 as is or I will put the batteries in and have the master cylinder in repaired for $3500. you pick. If that's what you consider cheap, has lumber ladder racks that will hold 1100 lbs and are fork-lift accessible with bed liner.

All power everything, tow package, leather etc.

208k miles on a 6.5 liter diesel.
It comes with new injectors, and shocks that need to be installed and a 4" exhaust.

That's a bit more truck than I need... and I think I'll stick with gas. Thanks for posting though.

I'm hoping to find something $2000 or under... maybe a bit more. I only need to drive it 15-25 miles a day and it will spend most of the time parked while I mow and work.

I know. All my customers look at me with suspicion now. I need to lower expectations back to their previous humble level.

At least I don't have a Thule ski rack with 3 Arra/ZeeBass rigs on the roof.

I've been watching there. They have a pretty good rep too. Thanks Charlie.
