Best rig for herring

Is a sabik rig the best rig for catching herring? Also what size would be best. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP Jack :smash:

I have used Sabachi rigds for herring and they work fine. If you car going to get your herring from a freshwater brook it is a lot easier to net them. Good Luck

Nightfigther- Never seen this area so saurated with bait fish since I was a kid ther are herring all over the place. The other day the birds were working from gloucester break water to thatchers light. What I'm surprised at that the big stripers aren't here with all this bait fish.
