ZB question?

I just made an impulse buy on a zb 27. (Its your fault ChefChris) I don't know much bout the reel as i haven't gotten it yet. It was purchased new in 2010. Is there a time frame where they were having some quality issues. I assume the production now in CT is better with QC. I am just hoping that i didn't buy a problem child. Also, how much does a servicing cost if its done by them? I assume its a flat rate plus whatever parts are needed...

There was a time there was an issue but I believe that is past and reels with issued can be fixed.
