NFL hall of fame

5:30 today they announce this years class.

Some Pats fans may appreciate this .
Curtis Martin should definitely go in !
I say Parcells is a lock in my opinion also.
And naturally being a Raider fan, Tim Brown

I'm shocked that Parcells didn't get in.

What's even more shocking is that Cortez Kennedy made it, and Charles Haley didn't.

Got to wonder the motives of some of the guys on the panels who vote the final cut.
I know some have come out and stayed their personal vendettas

Parcells jumped ship too often, lost the loyalty and respect of some he left behind in his pilgrimage for absolute power over a football team.

I can't think of another coach who took over 4 different teams when they were at rock bottom, and got all 4 back into the playoffs within 3 seasons of taking over. Sometimes, a GM or an owner is as important to a coach's success as anything involving Xs and Os. In Parcells' case, he won wherever he went.

When you think of how successful both Belichick and Coughlin have been this decade, remember that both are former Parcells assistants.
