9 foot one piece into a Nissan Altima Hybrid

I was pleasantly surprised to see a 9 foot one piece rod fit into my Altima Hybrid. It fit easily in fact. I have to tinker around a little because I think there is a way to fold down the rear seat that opens up a passage to the trunk too. If I can figure that out I could probably get an 11 foot one piece in there too!

I can get a 10' one piece in my camry, but that's with rear seat folded and through trunk.

I have ridden w/ a 10' in a maxima w/ the seat in the back opened somehow. Altima must be similar. Sweet cars.

My Chevy Malibu handles my 9 foot rod no problem with the back seat down. I think I could actually fit a 10 footer - could be a reason to get a new rod. :uhuh:

I fit my 10'6" Mojo's in a Ford Fusion with the back seat folded down. It's convenient not having to break them apart when going from one spot to the next.

No I did not get a live Christmas tree with my Hybrid. In fact , now that the immediate family is all gone , I just have a small ceramic Christmas tree I put out in December.

Oh , BTW , I bought this Altima , my first Hybrid , for one reason only...to save money on gas. Not concern for the environment (although i think we should be concerned). If I didn't think it would save money I'd have gotten a regular engine car.

Now interestingly enough , I would buy a second car like mine because it is just a pleasure to drive with its CVT-continuouisly variable transmission. I love that feature. i also save about $1500 a year or more on gas compared to my previous main vehicle , the Chevy Blazer.

But anyway , I digress.

An 11' footer will fit inside a civic with the seats folded down with about an inch spare....
