rod finishing speed

I have rpm's of 4,6,18,36. They all have a purpose for me.The slow 4 & 6 I use to dry troweled finish on butt wrap.36 for first coat underwraps and 18 for guides w/clutch. What speed do you builders use to apply & dry your finish?

I like to apply at 18 and cure at 6. Now I do use the 18 for curing too but you have to watch out for spin up of the epoxy at the guide feet corners.

I would not use 36 to cure at all as I think it will really run the risk of high spin up but I would use 36 for applying finish , especially ferrel wraps and underwraps.
