Rainshadow su 1267f question
I picked up a rainshadow su 1267F blank, it's rated 2 to 6, I'm going to build for a spinning set up.
Anybody have one? Wondering what the real word lure weights are and how it's performed. Any info would help, thanks |
I had one for a while to me it was a 1.5-3 oz rod

If it's anything like the All Star 1267/2 (and supposedly the two rods were designed by the same guy to be as close as possible) 2-6 isn't unrealistic. Although I would say 5 oz might be what I'd be most comfortable with at the top. I think it'lll throw down to about an ounce, too.
And in fact, if anything, most of the Rainshadow SU rods that I've tried have been a tad stiffer than the All Star version of the same rod. |
Thanks mike, that was the answer I was hoping for! I like have one rod that can do everything in the surf, wanted to make sure it can throw a decent riggie and down to a loaded Redfin.
Which it feels like it could do all day. Should be a sweet set up once it's all wrapped up. Thanks guys Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
