Grand Opening - Don's new shop
 

Don M, formerly with Weekapaug B&T, is opening a new tackle shop a few miles away at Wequetequock Cove in Stonington, CT. The shop, King Cove Outfitters is located at the King Cove Marina, on Route 1 in Stonington, just a couple miles over the the sate line from Westerly. Don's new shop will be a new sponsor here at S-B so first I want to welcome him back. And second, I want to pass on that today is the shop's grand opening.

He will be having a Grand Opening Sale today - try to wiggle some extra savings by saying you're from S-B :D .

My son & I will be heading down in a little bit to check out the new digs (after Shrek :) ) and wish Don good luck with the new shop!...

You can get there via Rt 95, exit 92 to w Westerly / Pawcatuk and follow RT 1 South to King Cove Marina. May even be a better way if you are familiar with the area :)

Nils - not sure what time he's open until tonight.

Here are the directions: From rt 95S , take exit 91 go left for about 100yds. Go left at the sign to route 1, follow to light. Go left on route 1 for 1.3 miles, shop on the right. From 95N exit 91 go right. From route 2 go right on rt1 for about 3 miles shop on
left just after road to Barn Island.

Nice shop - pretty clean, a lot of the right stuff and practically sitting on top of a launch ramp :D ... Needs bigger signage :D ...

Met Chris L and one of his daughters over there and my son went after everything with a hook on it, hehehe...

The shop will be open until 9:00PM. From route 95N take exit 91 go right, take left at sign to route 1, at the first light go left for 1.3 miles. Shop is on the right. From 95S go left and follow same directions as above. From route 2 go to end and go right on route 1, go about 3 miles, we are just past the road to Barn Island. From Mystic follow route 1 north for 5 miles, shop is on the right.
