Well, thats one very roe-laden fish .. Some 2.4 - 3mil eggs.

May be the only fishery where pre-spawn kill is more the norm then the exception.

Remember this fishing practice as well as haulseine, fly nets when we see drastic crash in stocks.

No, it is not about 1,000 fish of course. Compiled with 43% increase in coastal commercial take and 100% increase in recreational limits per amendment 6, think the fish stocks could be on their way to serious downtown . Time will tell.
