just heard that a blue was caught in jamaica bay last night...idk about you guys, but ive never heard of blues being caught this early

can't they hold over too?

That's for sure, normal rule of thumb is Mother's Day.

Got into some big ones at the end of April down the cape last year or the year before.

i am not going to say hold overs etc, however they are here and the larger ones are just south. ( valid source and landed by source, not just 1 random fish either.)
