interior rod racks?

anyone make them that will mount
on the ceiling of a wind star van?

or should i just build my own?

There are some straps with velcro flaps that work well. Attach on both sides and let you loop them through.

I don't recall who has them though

RodLoft Pro.

I used 1/4 inch rope from side to side and made hooks for the back one out of soft iron wire from Aubuchons and covered them with vinyl tubing from aubuchons. The front went on top of a rope. Of course that was in a Caravan, very upscale compared to a Windstar:biglaugh:

Joe Pezza made the nicest interior rod system I ever saw for his Trailblazer. I haven't seen JoeP post in awhile.

to remember ANYTHING you have to mentally or verbally say
i am remembering-i will remember- i have a perfect memory-
it will come to me shortly- it's on the tip of my tongue
and then back off a few..
(avoiding the typical (negative) I can't remembers)

to let it filter up to your conscience mind kinda like the old EIGHT BALL
fortune teller ball -lol
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i used to take stiff metal rods and bend them into arches so that
you could Bridge the roof from side to side to hold up apolstry (sp)
hmmmm

but as far as Velcro, wasn't thinkin like that -more something Rigid

like a rubber fixed JOBBY made for hangin tools and stuff....snap in

more like Nf's suggestion .... but good idea Boss

Cabela's: Boat Buckle® RodBunk Deluxe Rod Carrier

so they are worth the thirty bucks is what your sayin...

i'll have to see if i have those places to connect them.
that must be where the seat belts attach for the rear seats.

the bass pro type look like you had to cut the ceiling fabric. :hs:

I have the RodLoft, and this looks like it might be a better solution. The Rodloft isn't really meant for long rods or rods with large guides. I use it for the 8' and shorter rods, anything over 9' can't pass thru the foam carriers. The previous owner cut one of the carriers to allow a large guide to pass thru, but that means that I have to climb into the backseat to strap that rod down every time I load/unload the rod, and that's just too much of a PITA.

Just be carefull with these as the buckles slip on them and the whole shootin match comes down. Put a safety pin through the straps to keep them from slippin. Ron
