Scup for tuna bait
Have leard lots of talk of this over the last few years but have never tried it. Has anyone had first hand experience with live scup for tuna bait and if so the results vs macs/pogies etc thanks.

We would Ron but the damn fish eat small ass sand eels half the season and we cant get a hook small enuff for them as bait :)
|
They eat anything....I'm sure they would work
|
Used to use them for casting to white marlin, I can't see why they wouldn't work for tuna. Nice and silvery just like butterfish.

Thanks Maco and Steve, going to give it a shot this yr.

Don't forget your scup-McNuggets have to be 10.5" :hihi:

My Greek buddies would rather eat scup than BFT! But wait, they eat my left over bait anyways: macs, pollack, whatever.....
