Great time boating/fishing
 

Me and a friend of mine entered the Cape Cod Canal Chamber of Commerce fishing tournament and fished last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I wish I could say we killed em, but I can’t one small striper was the best we did, plus some cod, mackerel, and a variety of junk fish like cunner, sculpin and skate (those junk fish are welcome quests when fishing is slow).
On Sunday we put in at Mass Maritime, and ran out as far as Quicks hole in the Elizabeth Islands, and then back thru Robinsons and down thru Woods hole, that was my first time out there, man do those islands look like striper Heaven, I kept thinking they say to fish structure, but the whole place is structure.
On Monday we fished inside Cape Cod bay, from Plymouth to Barnstable into Wellfleet harbor, out off P-town and back to Plymouth. The whole day the bay was as calm as a pond, and the whales, schools of striper (that would not touch a thing) and mackerel made for good entertainment while the fishing was dead.
On Tuesday, we threw in the towel and went cod fishing, I wish it was a cod tournament or a most casts tournament, at least I could of make an entry. Regardless it was three great days on the water!
