Menhaden

I am curious how people view the bunker issue in the Chesapeake and Virginia's political stance in particular. Is this a states right issue? Should Virginia leave ASMFC and regulate it at the state level? Should there be less government and let the free market dictate what happens to Bunker (ie if there weren't enough bunker, then it wouldn't be economically beneficially for Omega to exist)?

Fish don't live exclusively in one or anther's state saltwater and therefore should be managed similar to interstate commerce by the FEDs! The FEDs just have to get the act together and manage the resource responsibly, which apparently they can't do!:smash:

There is no way that using planes to identify schools then using purse seines to wipe them out is a sustainable way to go. Especially with the starving and malnourished striped bass theories.
