The SW1209 is in exc. to mint condition and was used for about an hour and a half to try it out. It is too close to another rod I have and I don't need 2 jigging and big plug conventionals. Pick up in SoCo, RI.

I'm open to offers and other possible trades. I just won't use this as I have an AllStar1208 that I use and I'm getting too old to need too many back-ups....

$175? This is a very nice blank and wrap and a great all around jigging/big plug rod for the canal or jetties or boulder fields I would think.

Gonna bump this up once more... $160 or trades. Hate see it just sit here. With two rods about the same ratings and this one mint, I'll always grab the other so I don't ding this up. So, unless the other brakes it won't get used. Offers, trades welcome.

Excellent or better 706Z Penn, Daiwa Saltist 20H conventional, Abu Chrome Rocket CS (not CT). GSB 132 1M spinning... may be more stuff of interest... but what have you got?

If anyone eels the canal this is the PERFECT rod. And a tough to come by. Perfect tip, light, and more back bone than my aunt Peggy! The best rod I have in my arsenal. If this isn't gone by the end of the week PM me. I don't need it at the moment but I know I will eventually break mine and not be able to find another. It's a discontinued blank and the last to have them anywhere was CMS but they jacked the price after they started to sell their surplus. This was 2 years ago. Not sure if even they have any.

I wouldn't consider this a jigging or big plug rod at all. The tip is too soft to really load up on something big IMO. I think the SU was more suitable for that.

Where? I'd let it go for $150 if you can get it near SoCo. If I have to drive to Westport, between the bridge and gas and the time, ... I'd keep it.

Might consider a 706/706Z in excellent shape, Abu 7000CL Big Game (early version with flat handle, black side plates).
