Stopped in to M&D's to get get some jigs before heading to the Ditch yesterday. While I was there I got to talking to Mike about a BreakAway rod (12'-3"). The only thing I didn't like about it was that there was no trigger (I like conventional). He told me that no manufacturer put them on factory rods. I told him I wanted to buy the rod but would like a reel seat with a trigger and could he change it over. Mike told me to stop back in the morning (this morning) to see if he had it done. Well I stopped by this morning and he handed me my new rod complete with new reel seat that looked like it was insalled at the factory. I don't think I could have gone anywhere and got service like that. Thanks Mike this rod is sweeeet.:happy: Now all I need to do is put it to the test on some large.

Go ahead, her rod is on the lathe at the other end of the Ditch, just waiting for final coat of epoxy. Wish this rain would go away. Oh yah, did I forget to tell ya; she is gatting a XRA 1321 :p
