Fish attractants? Which one?

Hey guys, been reading a lot about fish attractants like BioEdge and SmellyJelly. They any good? Anyone notice a difference using them, or are they more for suckers like me? lol Any advice would be great. Thanks

I use mikes bunker oil and bio edge eel potion.

Yes they make a difference. Turns bumps into solid hits.

I've outfished live eels using bio edge eel potion on sluggos more than a few times.

Used Smelly Jelly on hard baits i.e. bombers, mag darters, sluggos etc .Caught early on in spring when bite was mediocre. Fill plug bag with plugs of the trip, smear with the scent. "Fish on". Heard great reports on Mikes Bunker Potion.

Gulp Herring spray for the Canal in spring.

I used the herring smelly jelly this spring and frequently would pull out a fish when no one else was catching. I've also used Mike's. I figure it can't hurt.

I have some soft plastics I use on jig heads soaking in the bio edge eel potion for over a year. I use one of the liquid Plano boxes. Cheaper than buying the gulp stuff in the same container.

I just keep adding fresh lures to the mix, you will get color run so keep like colored soft plastics together is key.

I use that stuff as aftershave...and while initially they are repulsed by the odor, but the ladies eventually dig it. It has the same effect as the expensive hormone attractants used by the expensive cologne companies but at a much lower cost.

Try some.

:)

Gulp is real good

I have had luck with both the bioedge scents and smelly jelly. Smelly Jelly is sold in two forms, a liquid and a paste. I prefer the paste as it seems to last longer on the lure, although the liquid can be nice if you want to marinate some soft plastics.

I agree. I do just as well as the guys fishing bunker oil with the Gulp. And I definitely notice a difference when I don't use it...
