Salem Willows Squid
 

Been catching crazy squid up in Gloucester the past 2 weeks, but was thinking of trying Salem Willows tonight. Anybody been having any luck with squid in Salem? Not looking for pointers or spots, per say. I already know if I'm going to the Willows, it will be from the pier, just want to know if I should stick with the great squiding north of there, or hit Salem?

They are everywhere.....got them in marblehead and beverly...don't see why they wouldn't be in Salem.

I've been getting them up on the base in Kittery...got the docks to myself....

so when we going squidding? :drool:

Latest report is that they have been in Salem as long as they have been in Gloucester and every other place. ..Salem Willows has been a hot spot from shore... :)

let me know....the base is awesome because you got the wholeplace to yourself...and they had some good size ones too...

I'm always down for a trip! I just learned to tie dropper loop rigs, so I put some new jigs on. Ready to roll!!!

Are squid still around the north shore? or have they moved out?

Anywhere in Marblehead, just have to fight the crowds.
