Big Fish eat Little Fish

Moron_Saxatilis 07-12-2012 08:11 AM

I'm guessing that was a Bull.

Rockport24 07-12-2012 10:26 AM

WOW! Awesome. That was a big shark too, oh man...would think twice before swimming in that creak huh?

RIJIMMY 07-12-2012 10:50 AM

i cant stop watching that.

I've seen lemons and spinners take barracuda and jacks on the flats in the keys but nothing as dramatic as that. I love the language - my reaction and words would have been exactly the same.

wader-dad 07-12-2012 12:15 PM

When your not expecting it I am not sure there is a big difference between a big ass shark and a little ass shark.

Duke41 07-12-2012 01:37 PM

I would have had a "Brown Out:.

RIJIMMY 07-12-2012 01:38 PM

i bet you on a sunny day, that area is filled with kayakers and clammers and crabbers.
too funny

Next minute, I'd be headed to the garage to grab a 50, a shark leader, 12/0 hook and a dead mackeral......and some Captain and Coke.

bart 07-13-2012 11:32 AM

When I was fishing a bridge in the Keys with no name, I witnessed a bull shark destroy some type of grouper a guy down the way from me hooked. Same reaction...

They did. Part 2 of the video was posted later. They fought the shark from their boat for about 7 minutes without ever slowing it down. It finally broke off. Big Penn SS reel and a very stout spinning rod--looked like a beefy Ugly Stik. Used a redfish head for bait. Thing was towing the boat all over the creek.

I think bulls might have a higher ratio of weight per unit of length than even GWs.

Swimming would be out. You couldn't convince me to take a dip after that. From what I've heard Bull sharks are the number one culprit concerning attacks on humans.
