Bending Thru wire?

I did a search on through wire and did not find anything good.
Anyone remember any good threads on bending the tail loop?

Thanks

Bend it around the shank of a philips head screw driver, or an awl. The twist it up, cut the tag end flush.

I know the gist of it but my bending never comes out nice.

practice, and patience takes a while to master it.

I was bending 1/16 Lincoln ER308/308L 1.6mm made in the USA and it was tough ..like bending spring steel..I can't recomend it.
I'm now bending the same # but from a foreign co. and its a lot softer and easier to bend.. but I know the other guys are using softer stuff than I am......Hey Newelly ,,chime in !! Where did that stuff come from...Iceland ?

Annealed 304 should bend OK. I clamp a screwdriver to the bench and bend the wire around it. Clamping the screwdriver lets you really lean into it and that seemed to make a difference to me.

To help with bending you can buy a pair of full rounded nosed pliers. Practice, practice, practice.

Winch,

Went out and got a pair. They really helped a lot!
-Thanks.
