Having been following them that close but can't believe Pasarius, the S African
double amputee runner. He had both legs amputated at 11 months old. I just
can't beleive the drive and courage of a person like this. How can some overcome
odds such as this, and with a smile on their face besides? What an inspiration!

crazy stuff for sure, makes you not want to complain about the small stuff.

there was a lot of talk about this guy competing cause of his "advantages" using the blade legs.

He didn't make the finals but great to see him make it into the semi-finals. Guts!

There were quite a few events that were won by "unknowns", and that made the events that much more enjoyable.
