Had one of these similar situations Thursday in the fog but the bird activity showed tuna underneath, couldn't hook one up but as you say very exciting.

Yep, those are great times when you happen upon them.

Sounds a lot better than running into a rotting beached whale in the fog. Man, that was creepy...
