Reporting these "new sightings" is all kind of silly. If sharks have been spotted off the Race, Backside and a solid presence in Chatham, any nitwit should be able to draw a line from point A to point B and think "hmmm... white sharks must travel through here."

Completely agree. I've said it before and I'll say it again the photos on Cape Cod Shark Hunters are proof enough for me that they cruise in the shallows often, and not just in low light.

A great white in shallow water??!!

I guess as fishermen and observers of nature and the sea in general we just pay closer attention, but I'm still surprised at the tone of that article.
