Go Pro Chest Mount
Anyone use the go pro chesty mount while wearing a plug bag??
Not sure if the shoulder strap will get in the way of the camera or just be annoying. |
I do. Doesnt bother me at all.

You will get a better shot if you mount it on a tripod or an extra fishing rod behind you....the head strap or chest mount makes the video too "jumpy" due to all the moving you do when fishing! My quality is better when mounted on a stable platform.

You can't edit out all the body turning and herky jerky motion of a cast!

dunno about fishin, but i posted a sick video of skiing that my friend took with a chesty in aspen, during the winter doldrums. (jesus dont remind me.... winter)
video was nice i bet landin a cow would yeild some awesome footage, suprised it hasnt happened yet |
I had one (just sold it) and never had a problem with the plug bag strap. I got rid of it because I do all my fishing at night now.... go pro has no night vision. I prefer the chesty POV for all my videos though. The FOV is steadier and more focused on the action, which is what really matters :-)
