Tuna Fishing Cape Ann
The Tiny Tuna tournament limited to 30 boats got off to a good start out of Gloucester with a Captains meeting on Thursday night... the tournament is run out of the Cape Ann Marina on Essex Ave.....Friday 2 Tuna were landed and a friend of mine landed a 406 pounder and today, Saturday they will be out again.
They had no problem filling the limited to 30 spots costing 900 bucks for the entry fee....had to refuse a dozen boats one being tuna.com did not enter in time. |
No wonder it was so crowded NW on a Friday.

ya i sat on the sw hump off salisbury friday all day and it was a parking lot....saw no tuna marked no tuna and saw or heard of none on the radio being landed. being that saturday decided to skip the tuna and went sharkin...

I'm usually on ch 69
I was cod fishing inshore sunday. Sat I went past the bank groundfishing. didn't see much on my way thru the parking lot on the corner. I'm sure a few fish were caught. the odds looked pretty low with the boats out there |
