Won't hold my passwords
 

I did about 80 long overdue updates to all my microsoft programs and now IE will not save my passwords. I'm sure its just a question of checking some box but where is the right box? :)

XP or 7?

Go to Tools > Options > Advanced: First try Restore Advanced Settings and if that doesn't work, choose to reset IE to default condition

unchecked delete history on exit. Now the passwords stay put.

'Funny thing but I always had delete history on exit checked but it did not delete my passwords. So maybe now after the updates that feature is actually working? :)

Don't bother with IE, use Firefox. It's constantly getting updated and fixed and it has all the options you want and is much more secure than IE.

I haven't been able to stay logged in lately either.....

a flash drive is more dependable
