I have very few, I had very little crop in the garden this year because of it. Maybe I should let the clover grow in the yard

Polinate yourself, use a Q-Tip and go flower to flower.

Ya, I think one of the big reasons, besides the disease,is the fact there is little clover
left from all the lawn spraying and cutting the sides of the roads where all the
white and pink clover used to grow.
