Albies?

Anything showing yet up inside buzzards bay or in the sound, I don't hear much of anything, I'm curious if anything is happening yet?

They are defintely around and they have driven me to drink, heavily. I worked the same area for the last three mornings, fish everywhere, boats everywhere, threw everything I had at them, couldnt even foul hook one. I saw only a few boats hook up but I'm still super frustrated.

BEETLE 09-14-2012 08:00 PM

Sounds like you need to match up what they are feeding on...

ProfessorM 09-14-2012 08:05 PM

sorry for your loss. PM sent

Bay anchovies in my area, real small ones too, but metal has been the ticket for me and a few friends

A strong SW would put them in casting distance I would think Bob, as I got several real close to shore this week under those conditions.

Tunabreath 09-14-2012 08:23 PM

I think theyre laughing at me at this point

BEETLE 09-14-2012 08:42 PM

Thats why they call them the fish of a thousand casts - been there.
But the 1001 - worth the pain.

Clammer 09-14-2012 10:25 PM

GS

The mother load has been here all week & then some ...even in the bay ><><><:fishin:

On the North Shore.......:smash: Enjoy getting them guys!
Getting slammed with work now too... which is good after a winter of little income. But it just figures that I have a dozen projects on the books when the good fall fishing kicks into gear... Even working today and tomorrow. So not going to get to travel for albies, and likely curtailing the fishing schedule in the weeks that remain.:wall:

I caught my first one today. A fish of 1000 cast, i made about .5 million over the past 10 years. Fun fish to catch for sure. It was about 5 pounds or so and the fight was awesome.
