Derby fishermen save three off Gay Head on the last drift : The Martha's Vineyard Times

Three fishermen out of Edgartown decided to make one more drift, one more cast, and lucky for three Portugese fishermen from New Bedford they did. Read above link. At least they new enough to grab the cooler.

Pretty sure they were towed in a week ago by TowboatUS.

We were in stitches one day this year out at the islands as we listened to the CG talk to a few Horns that ran out of gas just outside of NB Harbor. They had no clue were they were. They were telling the CG their position, left, right, New Bedford, left, right. This lasted 20+ minutes. They didn't know if they had an inboard or outboard. But they knew it was a Merc Cruiser. CG was getting pissed. We thought it was a joke at first and realized it was just some dumb Portagees. Best part was when they asked the CG how much 1 gallon of gas costs:rotf2: We almost fell off the boat laughing so hard. :rotf2::rotf2::rotf2::rotf2:

Small boats + dumbasses = chlorine for the gene pool.

I saw a boat upside down against the north side of Pasque last pm, just past Quicks. It looked salvagable and I almost went in after it but it was too dark to risk. I'll bet it was their boat and had blown through Quicks.

"Sir do you have a two stroke or four stroke? Uhh I'm not to sure hoe many strokes" lmao got to admit listening to that was funny....
