Got to sell mine dues to back issues :-( It is a 10 Ft sit in. Will take some photos when it stops raining
Sorry to hear that Jim. Have you tried a SOT? Might have better back support than a sit inside?? I have a bad back and have no issues while kayaking?
It's the shlepping on an off the SUV more than the sitting in it. A few teaks or wrong moves and I am bunged up for a few weeks so I surrender. I don't use it enough to get into the fancy Thule side racks .

Quick suggestion: get yourself a foam pad, buy a 12" wide trailer roller, and get a packing strap to tie it all to the roof. You can buy all you need for about $50. I have a two man kayak, was having back issues putting it on and off, and started strapping my roller to the rear of the car. With a blanket or foam pad up front, I can line my kayak up on the roller, and just push it on and off the roof by walking it forward. Saves my back from the funny twisting action of putting in on the roof sideways. Give it a try!
