trying for funny fish the other day and saw a new to me trick. the guy was using an egg with the smaller deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&. worked quite well for him.
i'm bummed that i didn't think of it myself..........

I had a friend who used to do well using deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&s on the drop. He'd raise his rod as he reeled, then pause and let it drop back. He would hook up when everyone else was getting blue-balled.

Not to self.....dont forget to pack casting eggs for the Derby

There's a local hard core fisherman named Dave Pickering that catches a ton of fish, and he swears by the "casting egg" with a cocahoe or smalll kastmaster...blogs about it all the time. He is crushing it this year.
