Walking Popper

This is a popper that walks like a spook. I didn't get a good shot of the face, but it is deeply cupped with a 1" Kutzall sphere.
  • 8.5"
  • 3.2 oz
  • Spanish Cedar

I like it, but looks like it needs 5/0 hooks.

Must have plenty of tail weight to lift the face out the water and glide.

Does it float near vertical?

Yeah, it's pretty thick at over 1.4". That's a 3/0 on the belly and a 2/0 on the tail.

It sits near-horizontal, like a Stillwater Smack It. The face throws a fair amount of water on the walk.
