Wish we could say the same to ownership.........Lining their own pockets has taken precedence over their product, me thinks.

Nah, you just can't win every year, and in the end the animals were running the zoo...ownership has made mistakes, but they did bring us two World Series wins, not bad for less than a decade in charge. Their trying to sell anyway so you my just be rid of them soon.

Never seen such a BIG smile on his face as during today's intviews on the bike....smiling all the way to $2.5 million for NOTHING!

to be honest I'd rather see him get payed for nothing, than have a nother seaons where the team chemisrty is bad and much of it stemming from the manager. The sox have the money, its not as big of a hit as it sounds

Trouble is they need to dump the pitching staff and start all over from scratch. I think any random bunch of pitchers in the sox's average pitcher salary range will do better than this years bunch.

Every now and then you need to rebuild. Trouble was this year was a rebuilding year but valentine was not the guy to lead the way towards the future. It should be interesting off season to see what coach the management brings in and what players they go after.

the good news is its aweful hard to do worse than they did this season. the only way to go is up! :)
