Party of Tolerance?

Way to go, teacher.

Pa. student who wore Romney shirt: Teacher 'told me to get out of the classroom' - U.S. News

RIJIMMY 10-05-2012 01:12 PM

A spokesperson for the Philadelphia School District told NBCPhiladelphia.com that the teacher was transferred to another classroom as the district investigates the incident

The teacher stated that it was just a joke.

What part was the joke heh?

The part where you told the student to get out of the classroom?
The part where you grilled her about what her parents political affiliation was?
The part where you joked about the KKK?

Exactly where was the joke in all this?

I'll tell you where the joke is! The joke will be when the teacher receives nothing more than a verbal warning and nothing else!

Note***
If the roles were reversed and it was a student wearing an Obama / Biden tee shirt and a teacher acted the same way it would be a call for BLOOD. The racist card would be waved about as if it were "Old Glory" and the student would be represented by the finest legal team the civil liberties unions could afford. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have another 15 minutes of spotlight time to vilify the teacher and break out their thesaurus while describing how victimized the student is and how much it will cost to ease their, err HER pain!

No, probably it would just be regarded as an isolated act of stupidity.

Certainly nobody would be silly enough to go around stereotyping a large share of the country over it.

He doesn't admit any liberal bias in eiher the media nor in academia.

He's blind to what doesn't support his ideology. If it makes his side look bad, or makes the other side look good, then in his mind, it cannot exist. It just can't. It must either be denied or explained away.
