Just got the new record Pyschedelic Pill with Crazy Horse over the weekend. I really like it a lot. Tons of guitar in a "Hurricane" type mode. Long songs too. One at 27 minutes another just under 20. His guitar soloing does not really sound like anyone else whereas with most guys you can tell who they listened to.

Neil is badass. Saw my first show in 1996. These are two of his best IMO:
NEIL Young - Unknown Legend - YouTube Neil Young - Long may you run - YouTube |
Glad Neil got his own thread here. Kind of an unknown album (tonights the night) but my favorite by far::smokin:
Neil Young - Roll Another Number (for the Road)(Unreleased) - YouTube |
one artist that is in my "just dont get it" category. There are a few tunes I like but for most I'd rather listen to cats mate.
|
I think People love him more for his attitude than his artistry. He was a Punk before there was Punk...he was Grunge before there was Grunge. He just doesn't give a Chit
I like some of his tunes as well.....but he's not one of my Favorites. I do like his album Harvest..... |
I think he's unique ,, His voice ,, his spastic guitar leads .. There's never a question ,, "who's that " .. Like his rock lyrics and topics too .. He does a great Tennessee Waltz if your into that kind of stuff .. Love the Spaaazzz lead in Almost Cut My Hair ..
