Fish heading towards RI

After a disappointing Friday/Saturday fishing in South County RI, I decided to head out to my old stomping grounds of Southeastern, Ma.
I got to my spot and parked my car and started the LONG walk to the rock pile. Wind was blowing out of the NE and I decided to walk the west shore. I did the usual cast a few times and walk a hundred feet and cast some more. My 5th stop landed me at the beginning of a bowl. Three casts and I am tight to a fish. Well 2 hours later and a dozen fish in the teens to mid-twenties, I decided that the cold night air and my frozen hands won the battle and I headed back to my car with a nice fat bass.
The bass had 3 whole recently eaten sea herring and a couple half decomposed herring in her gut. I have a feeling this is going to be a late fall season. I know I will be fishing until the middle of December.
It isn't over till the Fat Cow sings!
