Back on the water
After a 6 month stay in the the shop, I got to take the boat out for it's 3rd attempt to get off the beach.
Low and behold it worked, It is amazing what can happen when the proper parts are installed. I did have to get Bombardier involved and got the boat back in 6 working days after contact. 2 days to trouble shoot and 3 days for parts to come in. Bomb's customer service is first rate they get results,I was being called by them with status reports. Heck, I even got to wet a line lot's of small bass and blues around from the west end of the canal out to the dike. |
Congrat's John - sorry you had to deal with that.
See you out there this weekend? Roop |
Darn I wanted to see you go postal on them :D
It really was lookin like that was gonna happen :p Wanna buy an ANGLER? :smash: |
Does this mean that both of the Buzzards Bay Bombers are back in circulation?
|
Well after spending 2 hours this afternoon repairing the throttle cable on my piece of junk because ANGLER screwed up again....
Been having this little "click" hangup coming off WOT and I figured out why..... Angler didn't set the throttle cable right and it was about to fall out of the motor, had one thread holding it in and no locknut. Took the binnacle completely apart and found they bottomed the damn throttle cable out inside.....and left me one thread at the motor end....boy THAT would have been nice in an emergency trying to get out of someone's way etc. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: |
Ah.. yep, but was kind of thinking the bay side flats, or Vineyard Sound for the weekend. descions.......descions.
