Peterson rods
 

Can anyone tell me about Peterson rods. I have had a few over the years but want to learn about the blanks, i.e., who made them, where was the company located, really anything at all, particularly interested in the blanks since I have an 11 footer that I am thinking about cutting down to 10 feet, it is a nice light blank and just want to find out more about the composition of the blanks and anything else I can discover...
