Train to Hyannis
The Barnstable Patriot - Boston-Hyannis passenger rail service due by May
I wonder if this will cause problems for us draggin our bikes over the tracks along the canal. Could be some issues. Good thing I don't usually fish canal on weekends. |
ditto..

30 bucks one way from BOS to Hyannis
Don't think it will run that often |
You mean the canal bite can now be mugged by rail. Nice.

I believe the train crosses on RR Bridge and turn south to
Hyannis from there. Not parallel to CCC. |
Doubt that very much John

I thought the tracks to Hyannis run through Sandwich and Barnstable. Would south not put it in buzzards bay?

The tracks are about 50' from the Canal road all the way from the Bourne Bridge to Pleasant Street in Sagamore.

exactly, crosses 6A a couple times on and above pretty much follows it to exit 7 then along willow street into Hyannis.
Pretty sure Johns route, rail line, is a bike path to woods hole now, at least part of it. |
