Piscator 12-14-2012 01:42 PM

Kids between 5-10 years old. What a sick and twisted world we live in. What kind of animal would do this. How sad this is.............................

WESTPORTMAFIA 12-14-2012 01:47 PM

I was watching live. They were talking about 3 wounded. Then all of a sudden 26 dead including 18 kids. I had to stop watching

PaulS 12-14-2012 02:04 PM

Very tragic. A friend just called who has a buddy who is a cop in Newtown and said they have a 2nd suspect they caught in the woods dressed in cammo.

Crazy I've been at work all morning and just happen to go online after lunch and saw, crazy times.

Why kids?

Paul, they just announced on the radio that the police are saying it was the father of one of the students acting alone. The guy in the woods was released after they determined he had no involvement.

Yeah, these situations seem to change minute by minute. I just heard the NJ story on the radio, but they didn't give any details.

One thing's for sure, I'm gonna go home and give my son a huge hug tonight and tell him how much I love him.

PaulS 12-14-2012 03:02 PM

I couldn't imagine having a child at that school not knowing if they were safe or not.

Goose 12-14-2012 03:05 PM

I'm sick

Nebe 12-14-2012 04:54 PM

what a f-ing coward... killing innocent children who are so small and defenseless... so tragic.

afterhours 12-14-2012 05:10 PM

one of the saddest things i've ever heard, a piece of all of us died today...

JohnR 12-14-2012 05:17 PM

First reports are rarely right, in a way I wish the first reports were. This is sad and tragic. Unbelievably sad. Cherish your kids.

Jackbass 12-14-2012 05:20 PM

Just devastating absolutely horrific

I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND....

what kind of mindset could devise such
a horrendous act of violence on lil Kids.

Ian 12-14-2012 05:57 PM

This is amazingly sad... reports are leaning to an entire class of kindergartens... f**king 5 year olds...

There are no words to capture it... doesn't make sense

My heart goes out to the victims, the survivors, and the community. These poor kids who saw the scene while being evacuated are going to need counseling and support. There was a little boy on earlier who said, "we heard he wanted to kill us all, starting with the music room. I was right near the music room!" It didn't seem right seeing a little kid say those words...

Senseless, and horrible... My stomach hurts just thinking about what transpired there today.

Bronko 12-14-2012 08:17 PM

Two things I can't process:

1. The sheer horror these 5 year olds felt before they were executed.
2. The type of evil it takes to carry out an act like this.

I grew up in a neighboring town. It's sobering when you realize that it isn't just a big city problem and can happen in your backyard. Such an incredible tragedy and really makes me wonder what could drive a monster to do something like this.

Pete. #1 is what really makes me hurt. That's all I have been thinking about all day.

Jackbass 12-15-2012 09:33 AM

I sincerely hope there is a hell and this shooter is there to feel the immeasurable sorrow of the parents, the pain and fear he inflicted on the victims while taking rounds every five seconds for eternity. This scumbag cretin of a human being deserves no peace ever.

I had just gotten off a flight in Philly and walked into the USAir Club as the story broke. Everyone was silent and crowded around the tvs. The women we crying and a lot of the guys just had their heads down. I was moved to tears and I am not ashamed to admit it.
I only wish I had been at that school with one of my Glocks. I would have gladly sacrificed my life to take that bastard out.

Saltheart 12-15-2012 02:20 PM

This is definitely a thing that makes your whole being want revenge. I can't imaging the sorrow and fury of the parents of the victims. Your heart , your brain all call for revenge. Of course there is no place to seek revenge. Only sadness here.

Nebe 12-15-2012 03:26 PM

The majority of people think guns are the issue with this event and they should be banned, but in my opinion, sensationalized media coverage of events like this are the real problem. Want the whole world to know who you are??? Go on a shooting spree... These events should be covered, but the shooter should be banned from being mentioned.
